FEAST OF INFANT JESUS AT PUSHPASHRAMA : 2012
The annual feast of the Infant Jesus was held on a grand scale at Pushpashrama on Sunday 8th January 2012. The festive mass was celebrated in different languages, like – Malayalam 7a.m, English 8a.m, Konkani 9a.m, Tamil 10a.m, and Kannada mass especially for the sick and their healing at 11.30a.m. Around 15,000 devotees visited the shrine during the novenas and on the feast day. Fr Joseph Abraham and Fr. Wilfred frank conducted the healing prayer service for the sick at 12.30p.m .It was followed by annasantharpane-mass feeding at 1p.m. Rev Dr. Thomas Vazapilly Bishop of Mysore  was the main celebrant for the festal mass at 5pm. The theme for this year was ‘Lord strengthen our faith’. Fr. Archibald provincial of Karnataka-Goa Province honored all the benefactors. During the candle light procession all were invited to pray for our nation, state, and Mysore district so that people may live in harmony, peace and respect for each other. Colorful decoration, Infant Jesus flag, flower ball, palace Band, flower girls, choir, fireworks, car procession, candle light procession, benediction-were the high lights of the feast. .Fr. Joe Tauro rector of Pushpashrama proposed the vote of thanks. May Infant Jesus bless all the devotees and the community of Pushpashrama.
